This guide provides step-by-step instructions to get your transport services configured and live on the Shippit platform.

The setup process

Scoping and kick-off: provide your technical and service details, and schedule a kick-off call to align on the project plan and timelines.

Technical configuration: configure your system for receiving booking files and sending tracking updates.

Testing and launching: work with the Shippit integrations team to run a series of tests to certify the connection. When all your tests have passed, your integration is ready, and you can declare a date to launch.

Before you begin

To ensure a smooth integration project, make sure you have:

  • A designated technical contact within your organisation. This person is responsible for the project and can answer questions about your systems.
  • The ability to generate tracking data from your internal systems. This data must be in CSV format, or in JSON format using a real-time webhook.
